In this talk, I touch on a series of recent theoretical developments applicable to the heavy flavor program at sPHENIX including jets, heavy meson flow, and non-flow correlations from the color glass condensate. This motivates my grand wish list for all the measurements and collision systems I'd like to see -- if only it were all up to a theorist like me!
